A Novel Deformable Self-Assembled Magnetic Anastomosis Ring (DSAMAR) for Esophageal Stenosis Recanalization without Temporary Gastrostomy in Beagle Dogs

This preclinical study evaluates a novel deformable magnetic ring system for recanalization of esophageal strictures in a beagle model, delivered transorally without requiring gastrostomy. The DSAMAR device uses magnetic compression to create anastomosis, offering a potentially less invasive alternative to traditional surgical approaches for esophageal stenosis.
